Charity Work
At St Mary's, we value our diverse community and work tirelessly to help support those within it. We believe that the roots of our school are in its community and therefore we participate and collaborate with many charitable organisations to raise money - this links closely with our Christian values and school ethos.
Dover smART Project
Dover smART Project provides opportunities for disadvantaged children in Dover to take part in a wide range of creative activities and experiences to boost their confidence, enhance their well-being, raise their aspirations and widen their outlook on the world. They also help the homeless and hospice patients, using art and creativity to support their various needs.

The Dover Food Bank
We celebrate Harvest at St Mary's Church by donating gifts, which helps to support and feed vulnerable individuals within our community.
St Mary's supports many more charities/events throughout the school year including: Children in Need; United Families; Red Nose Day; Sports Relief and Christian Aid.
Furthermore, we work on small projects that the children suggest; this helps us be responsible, caring citizens within our local community. For example, we raised £500 for Alzheimers after a pupil proposed a fun day and dressing up in blue - the pupil's Grandmother suffered with Alzheimers and therefore wanted to raise awareness of this within our school community - a wonderful act of kindness!
